All but the coldest of hearts can sympathise with the plight of the Palestinian people as a result of the recent carnage brought upon them by the Israeli government.

What more can be done to dehumanize a people?

After having built a wall to imprison the people of Gaza, denying the Palestinians access to medical, economic and humanitarian assistance; now, the Israeli government is once again determined to kill off man woman and child militarily.

This has all been and is taking place while the rest of the world watches or does very little.

Yes, there are calls for an immediate ceasefire, have the superpowers use their influence to broker peace and even calling for the Israeli regime to unconditionally dissolve the illegal settlements.

There are also those who would take up protest signs and burn flags in front of embassies with the mistaken notion that those inside or the governments they represent care about these demonstrations.

Friends; the truth is; they don’t care. They see your demonstration as a means for you to release some steam.

They know that after your demonstration; you will return home feeling as if you have accomplished something by making them (foreign government officials) take note.

Realise something… Protests signs effigy and flag burning are yesterday’s tactics and yesterday’s news.

In short: They do not work!

Why? There is absolutely no incentive for any Change in the status quo to take place.

Real Change only comes about when it’s in the self interest of those who can bring about the change desired.

Realizing this; what can we as peace loving people do to bring about a change in the plight of the Palestinian people?

Pick up stones to throw at Israeli tanks and gun ships? This has only served to cause further death and destruction on the Palestinian people.

Write letters of protests to the leaders of the governments around the world? They will probably end up in the trash bin.

The only intervention other than God is for the peace loving people around the world to enact an Economic Boycott on those who finances support the injustice brought about on the Palestinian people.

If all the people of the world; who believe in Freedom, Justice and Equality collectively boycott products of companies that support this barbaric behavior towards the Palestinian people then and only then will there be a Change.

Where can we start?

We can bring about an immediate impact, if together we stop purchasing Coca Cola, Colgate and stop going to Starbucks!

Why these?
1. Their (Coca Cola, Colgate and Starbucks) finances support the government that is oppressing the Palestinian people.
2. They (Coca Cola, Colgate and Starbucks) are visible in the global market and have products and services that are neither essential or there exist viable alternatives.

Therefore, we again propose for all those who stand up for Freedom, Justice and Equality to prove it by immediately boycotting Coca Cola, Colgate and Starbucks.

Do not let the profit from your purchases of their products be used for the destruction of your fellow human.

Let us bring about change and let these corporations (Coca Cola, Colgate, and Starbucks) experience the same economic isolation their support has placed on the Palestinian people.

Let us bring about a change to the bottom line of these corporations who care nothing for the suffering of others as long as their profits continue to flow in while the blood of others flows out!

Let us not abdicate our responsibility to bring about Change to a man who eloquently speaks about it, but has been eerily silent to speak for a people who have for much too long suffered and died for it!

Change! Let’s change by putting down our protest signs and pickup our moral backbones and through an economic boycott bring about Real Change!
